I’m excited to post this gorgeous wedding from the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale at Troon North. Stephanie and Adam opted for a small, intimate destination wedding tucked in the hills below Pinnacle Peak.
As she prepped in the hotel room before the ceremony, Stephanie radiated southern charm and elegance. The pearls she wore on her earrings and necklace perfectly reflect who she is as a person: sophisticated, timeless, and classically beautiful. I was also impressed by how calm and at ease she seemed on her big day, a calm that extended to everyone around her.
Before the ceremony, the couple chose to see each other for a first look. What a beautiful moment–to look into the eyes of the person you’re going to marry on your wedding day with just the two of you!
She also chose to have a first look with her dad, which was so emotional and sweat. I love seeing grown men cry!
I was honored to be able to photograph this special First Communion dinner at Remington’s
on the Scottsdale Plaza Resort
! Great food, good friends, and dessert! What better way to celebrate a big event?
We started out with a few family photos before dinner.
I love this father and son photograph. Dad looks so proud!
These First Communion favors were such a great idea!
There were even crafts for the kids!
Check out these gorgeous head shots for Carin Whitehurst of Mutual of Omaha Insurance! I know Carin from my Business Networking International group, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her.
I’m so glad we decided to do her professional portraits indoors. This orange couch perfectly compliments her blue dress. I love it!
Check out my recent family session at the Westin Keirland Resort in Scottsdale. This cute family came to Arizona for a reunion and birthday celebration, which is always an amazing time to have extended family photos taken. I love their spring colors–not matchy-matchy, but still very cute together.
Look at all these beautiful women in one photo!
I’m so glad I got a picture of this face.
Fun cousin photos!
Occasionally, I like to get outside of myself photographically–challenge myself to photograph differently than what I typically do. In this commercial fitness shoot, I had a blast working with off camera flash to create harder, more intense lighting for Amenzone
Fitness. Amenzone does what they call “primal fitness,” which “promotes a natural workout that uses clean tires and one’s own body strength and movement to stay fit.” Needless to say, the soft lighting that I usually employ wasn’t quite right for this crowd.
Julie + Justin’s Gilbert wedding happened on a perfect, warm sunny Arizona day–not too hot, but comfortable. They saw one another for the first time outside of the Gilbert Arizona LDS Temple with it’s beautifully kept grounds and fountains. Tears came to her eyes as she saw him waiting for her in his gray suit. It was one of the sweetest first looks I’ve seen in a while. You could see in their eyes how much they meant to each other.
After photos, the party moved on to the Elegant Barn
for the ring ceremony and reception.
Congratulations, you guys! Thank you for making me a part of your beautiful wedding day!
I’m excited to share this gorgeous Downtown Phoenix wedding. These two were married at the Cutler Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center near the Burton Barr Library in downtown Phoenix. You may remember, from our engagement session last fall, that these two share a passion for literature and the written word. Accordingly, I thought it might be appropriate to take a little detour into the Central Library for some quick bride + groom shots. Enjoy!
Look at this gorgeous woman! Her makeup artist
did a phenomenal job!
